# Does Chain-of-Thought Reasoning Help Mobile GUI Agent? An Empirical Study

This study compares matched reasoning and non-reasoning vision-language models on static mobile GUI tasks and interactive AndroidWorld navigation. It finds that chain-of-thought effects vary across tasks and model families.
