# Visual Confused Deputy: Exploiting and Defending Perception Failures in Computer-Using Agents

Formalizes a visual confused-deputy failure in which a computer agent acts on a misperceived UI object. A separate guardrail checks both the visual target and the agent's action reasoning against deployment-specific knowledge before permitting execution.
