# PixelPrune: Pixel-Level Adaptive Visual Token Reduction via Predictive Coding

PixelPrune removes pixel-redundant patches before the vision encoder, reducing both encoding and downstream language-model work. The training-free method evaluates lossless and controlled-lossy compression on document and GUI tasks.
