# Temporal UI State Inconsistency in Desktop GUI Agents: Formalizing and Defending Against TOCTOU Attacks on Computer-Use Agents

This study examines UI changes between a desktop agent’s screenshot observation and action dispatch. Its pre-execution state checks address overlay and focus manipulation, while the reported DOM-injection blind spot limits the defense’s coverage.
