# The Compliance Trap: Diagnosing How AI Agents Consume Conflicting Memory

The Entry–Propagation–Recovery framework traces where conflicting memory first changes an agent action, how the effect propagates and whether recovery occurs. WebArena and the controlled MemTrapBench separate memory-consumption failures across these stages.
