# Lexical Coupling in GUI Element Grounding: Sentence Embeddings Track Labels across Mobile and Web

Studies whether text-embedding GUI grounding scores reflect semantic matching or recovery of visible labels. Same-screen ranking comparisons with lexical baselines expose differences between deployable fusion, oracle selection, and performance on label-poor targets.
