# Before Acting, Change the State: Prospective State Intervention for Web Agents under Deceptive Interfaces

Introduces Veer, a runtime defense that changes task-relevant web state when an otherwise valid proposed action would produce an unauthorized consequence. It plans a prospective intervention and grounds and verifies its execution before the base agent continues.
