# Decoupling What from Where: How Should a Small GUI Grounding Model Receive the Action Type?

Compares ways to condition a small GUI grounding model on action type under matched training conditions on Android in the Wild. The study traces apparent gains to a coordinate-serialization choice and reports limited evidence that the gains persist with predicted action types.
